Greetings to everyone! Just wanted to get my intro in here, maybe it can help someone or even help me. I am 51(today is Nov 29, 03)years young and have eight major joints damaged from past activities.

I am married to a young woman whom I don't deserve but am blessed by her care and love and try to reciprocate as best as I am able.

I have come to this point in my life, like most of you, through a series events. Through a short career in the US Army (11/71-5/81),

I managed to take a near perfect body, inside of 9 1/2 years, and turn it into a body with the knees of a man of 80 years of age (according to the doctor's statement). From injuries, ( pain in knees )

I had surgeries which the Army doctors removed "all" of the cartillege and a few other parts out of both (different surgeries) knees. I have had multiple shoulder (both) dislocations and even had surgery on my left shoulder to correct this condition.

Was retired on a permanent medical retirement and continued on with my life as a civilian.

All during the time from my surgeries (1974 & 1978) I had been taking Motrin 800 mgs 3x's a day. When I stopped taking the motrin, I was taking 4800 mgs a day to help me with the pain and inflamation in my knees. ( pain in knees )

This resulted in stomach and digestion disorders and other organ problems. In May, 1998, while riding my motorcycle I hit a car which ran a red light(T-Boned the car at 40 MPH). That injured my neck, both elbows and both shoulders. Had surgery on both shoulders to repair torn rotator cuff.

Therapy on elbows but doctors couldn't find anything wrong. Today, I cannot hold a phone to my ear to talk very long without my elbows swelling from the position(Thank God for head sets).I had to retire completely from any gainful employment because of this car crash, my body just would not allow me to work at all.

Three years ago I found I had to use a wheelchair to get around. My wife had to push me around in it if we went to the malls because I couldn't walk much at all. ( pain in knees )

The progressive wear in my knees eventually damaged my left hip to the point the doctors say I need to have it replaced along with both of my knees. I couldn't walk around inside my house without facing severe pain, which made it difficult to maintain a decent attitude. After an hour of moving around in my home I was in so much pain I had to keep myself in a recliner with hot compresses on my knees.

I had no lifestyle or social life to speak of. So I opted to begin the replacement surgeries, got my name on a waiting list for my first knee replacement(Apr '02).

Left the doctor's office and went home to wait to be called for the surgery.

My wife and I started on herbs, I was told I could avoid the surgery with the use of herbs. Skeptical with nothing to lose I tried it completely. Within two months I had hung up my cane and put my wheelchair in storage. We are now taking most of the HTN products and I am improving more each day. I am regularly challenged, now, with overdoing it and have setbacks but I have cancelled my knee replacement surgery and don't forsee any knee or hip replacement for some time, if at all.
